Abraham Cruzvillegas and I sat down to discuss portability in comics, comix and Mexican historietas on the occasion of Abraham’s exhibition La Señora de las Nueces at Galerie Chantal Crousel, Paris. Some of the comics journals and historietas we discussed were Paquito grande, Pepín, Rarotonga, Chanoc, Kalimán, La Familia Burrón, Memin Pinguín, Love and Rockets and Little Nemo, but also El Libro Vaquero, Lágrimas Risas y Amor and other poverty exploitation comics like Así Soy, ¡¿Y qué!?

Biquini Wax EPS in partnership with broken english have prepared a digital publication in which they offer a look at the different processes that accompanied the production of their piece Sa la na, a yuum, iasis/laissez faire-laissez passer, exhibited in Siembra at kurimanzutto.
Marisol Rodríguez, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Canek Zapata and Keiko will talk about this digital publication in a live stream from the facebook channels of kurimanzutto and Biquini Wax EPS.
